A New Vision Forum Node: The Disembodied Voice
Vision Forum is proud to announce the launch of a new node based in London entitled The Disembodied Voice. The node is run by the artist duo Karin Kihlberg and Reuben Henry. They explain that that by working together they will explore many questions and ideas related to their individual practices with starting point in the disembodied voice.
"Working through the groups’ individual disciplines the
research will explore expanded ideas and complexities of the disembodied
voice to leave room for unexpected discoveries, connections and
expansions of the subject. The group will take part in workshops, site
visits and activities held by guest speakers from a variety of fields to
expand on their practice."
The research process will open up for further input by hosting open public events throughout the project. The group's participants work across different fields from film making, performance, writing, curating and archiving:

More Vision Forum in Östergötland
Vision Forum have been invited by Boel Zetterman and Vinterpalatset to participate in this year's last event. Per Hüttner has selected work that reflects on social conventions and strategies for laying them bare. It includes mostly videos and drawings that find alternatives to unreflected anthropomorphism, misguided criticality and over simplified relationships to art's audience. Invited artists from the Vision Forum network: Yoshinori Niwa, Speech and What Archive, Yane Calovski, Annalisa Sonzogni, Rita Nettelstad, Li Xiaofei, Natasha Rosling, Per Hüttner, Karin Kihlberg and Reuben Henry.
The exhibition is open to the public December 13-15 at Vinterpalatset (Brårums skola), Valdermarksvik, Östergötland, Sweden. For directions click here.
