Per Hüttner and Dungeon Acid in Mexico City

Vision Forum is proud to present its first project in Mexico in collaboration with Alam + Petrov, The City of Mexico and the Embassy of Sweden. For the project Poseidon Recreates Lake Texcoco, at Villa Punk, Swedish artist Per Hüttner teams up with musician Dungeon Acid to reflect on security and risk-taking with starting point in Homer’s Odyssey and James Joyce’s Ulysses.

For the installation Huttner makes use of the unique situation of having a gallery in a hotel. Odysseus returned from his voyages such different man that not even his wife recognised him. And this holds true for any journey, since it is always a wish for a change, even if it is only to return rested and relaxed.

Dungeon Acid and Vision Forum in Haiti

Dungeon Acid and Jean Claude Saintilus performing in Port-au-Prince
Jean-Louis Huhta/Dungeon Acid have performed twice. First performance was a collaborative improvisation with Per Hüttner where they mixed the sounds of the interviews carried out in "Is Misunderstanding Misunderstood?" and the sounds of Huttner playing the cage. The second was a collaboration with artist and voodoo drummer Jean Claude Saintilus. Both performances became street parties where the Haitian audience enjoyed music and life with their foreign guests.
